Linda is the TFI Vice President. She oversees TFI alignment and direction. Linda is a former Project Manager at the Italian European Patients’ Academy (EUPATI), a consortium that helps bring together patients, academia, non-profit organizations, and regulators. As a thyroid patient advocate, she has worked and translated an educational booklet: “Mr. Iody and Little Salty – Best Friends”, aimed to inform children aged 6 to 10 on the importance of iodine and the correct use of salt.

She leads the MotherBabyIodine (MBI) project and she actively works to implement the MotherBabyIodine project in various countries. Together with WIA, IGN, and other organizations, she works on several awareness campaigns to increase knowledge of the risks of iodine deficiency disorders (IDD), especially in women of reproductive age, and advance advocacy at political/EU level to prevent, control, and address iodine deficiency.
